Facial Precare:
We must ensure that your skin is in the best condition for treatment and you get optimal results.
To prep for your any type of facial treatment and/or chemical peel, please follow these pre-care
instructions:

1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight for at least 5 days prior to your
treatment. Sunburned or overly tanned skin can be too sensitive for these procedures.

2. Discontinue Exfoliants: Stop using any exfoliating products (scrubs, retinols, acids,
AHAs/BHAs) 5-7 days before your appointment. This will prevent skin irritation during the
treatment.
3. Skip Hair Removal: Avoid waxing, threading, or using depilatory creams on the
treatment area for at least 7 days before your appointment to prevent irritation.
4. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment to keep your skin
hydrated and ready to respond well to the procedures.
5. No Injectables or Peels: If you've had Botox, fillers, or chemical peels, wait at least 2
weeks before getting these treatments to ensure your skin is not compromised.
6. Avoid Harsh Skincare Products: Skip products containing alcohol, benzoyl peroxide,
or other harsh ingredients for 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid unnecessary
irritation.
7. Clean Skin: Come to your appointment with a freshly cleansed face. Avoid makeup,
lotions, or sunscreen on the day of your treatment.
8. Consult with Your Esthetician: If you have any active acne breakouts, cold sores, or
open wounds on your face, let your esthetician know in advance, as this may affect your
ability to receive the treatment.

Facial Aftercare Instructions: Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, and Nano
Infusion, Chemical Peel

To maintain your results and ensure proper healing, please follow these aftercare tips:

1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Your skin will be more sensitive after the treatment. Steer clear of
direct sun exposure for at least 72 hours. Immediately following treatment, broad
spectrum UVA/UVB, SPF 25 or greater sunscreen is imperative. We recommend a
chemical-free sunscreen. You must wear sunscreen everyday, even after healing, as a
part of your skincare routine to protect from sun damage and premature aging.

2. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to support skin healing and keep your complexion
hydrated from within. Following treatment, the skin may feel drier than normal.
Hyaluronic Acid and Squalene are ideal ingredients that can be used to hydrate and
restore the skin back to perfect balance.

3. Skip Exfoliation: Avoid using any exfoliating products (scrubs, retinols, acids) for at
least 5 days after your treatment. Do not use a Clarisonic or other powered cleansing
brushes for one week following your treatment. Let your skin rest and recover.

4. Moisturize: We recommend antioxidant rich serums as its properties are ideal by
helping to help the skin heal by soothing and lessening irritation. Apply a gentle,
hydrating moisturizer twice a day to nourish your skin and prevent dryness. Look for
calming ingredients like chamomile extract or aloe vera.

5. No Heavy Makeup: Let your skin breathe by avoiding heavy makeup for 24-48 hours.
Mineral makeup is a good alternative if needed. In addition, do not apply makeup with a
makeup brush, especially if it is not clean.

6. Avoid Heat and Sweating: Skip saunas, hot tubs, gyms, and intense workouts for the
next 24-48 hours to prevent irritation and inflammation. No swimming for 72 hours
following treatment.

7. No Picking or Touching: Keep your hands off your face to avoid transferring bacteria or
causing irritation. Let any flaking or peeling skin shed naturally.

8. Gentle Cleansing: Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated
area. Wash your face with a mild cleanser in lukewarm water for the next 48 hours. Pat
dry with a soft towel—don’t rub.

Body Waxing Precare Instructions:
To ensure a smooth waxing experience and the best results, follow these steps before your
appointment:

1. Grow Your Hair: Hair should be at least 1⁄4 inch long (about the size of a grain of rice) for
optimal waxing. Avoid shaving, trimming, or using nair for at least 2-3 weeks before your
appointment. Allow your esthetician to trim if necessary.

2. Exfoliate Gently: Gently exfoliate the area 24-48 hours before your waxing session to
remove dead skin cells that hold hair tighter to the skin and help prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid harsh scrubs.

3. Moisturize: Keep your skin moisturized leading up to the appointment, but skip lotions
and oils on the day of your waxing to ensure the wax adheres properly. Dry, peeling skin
can cause the skin to lift when wax is removed.

4. Avoid Heat: Skip tanning beds, saunas, or hot tubs for at least 24-48 hours before
waxing. Heat can make your skin more sensitive.

5. No Caffeine or Alcohol: Avoid caffeine and alcohol on the day of your wax, as they can
make your skin more sensitive. This also causes pinpoint bleeding during your
appointment.

6. Pain Management: If you're concerned about discomfort, you can take an
over-the-counter pain reliever (like ibuprofen) 30-45 minutes before your appointment.
Also, apply a numbing cream if recommended by your esthetician.

7. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and more supple, which
can make the waxing process smoother.

8. Avoid Heavy Exfoliants and Retinoids: Discontinue the use of retinol or other
chemical exfoliants such as salicylic, glycolic, lactic, malic, etc. at least 48 hours before
your waxing appointment to avoid irritation.

9. Stay Ready: If you tend to sweat below, bring a fresh pair of underwear for after the
wax, if wearing underwear is a must. If you are on your menstrual cycle, please have
fresh feminine products to use before and after your appointment. There are cleansing
wipes available for use at the time of your appointment.

Body Waxing Aftercare Instructions:
After your waxing treatment, follow these steps to help your skin recover and reduce the risk of
irritation:

1. Avoid Heat and Sweat: Steer clear of hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, and exercise that
causes sweating for at least 24-48 hours. Heat can cause irritation and lead to
breakouts.

2. Wear Loose Clothing: Opt for loose-fitting, breathable fabrics after your wax to avoid
friction and allow your skin to heal. Preferably no underwear, as your skin needs to
breathe.

3. Moisturize and Soothe: Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe vera gel to
soothe the skin. This helps reduce redness and irritation.

4. Exfoliate: Wait 48-72 hours, then start gently exfoliating the waxed area 2-3 times per
week to prevent ingrown hairs, and release hairs trapped underneath dead skin. Use a
mild chemical exfoliant or body scrub recommended by your esthetician. After this time
period, you can start using ingrown hair serum products.

5. No Tanning or Sun Exposure: Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, or sun exposure for at
least 48 hours post-waxing. Waxed skin is more sensitive and prone to burns.

6. Avoid Fragranced Products: Refrain from using products with heavy fragrances,
alcohol, or harsh chemicals on the waxed area for 24-48 hours. Try a sensitive skin soap
like Honey n Aloe or Specks by Reasons By Ty.

7. No Touching: Try not to touch or scratch the waxed area, as this can introduce bacteria
and cause irritation.

8. Wait on Intimate Activities: If you’ve had a Brazilian wax, it's best to avoid sexual
activity for 24-48 hours to prevent irritation or infection.

9. Hydrate: Continue drinking plenty of water to keep your skin healthy and hydrated.
Moisturize the area everyday, twice a day, to keep the hairs soft for a smooth and less
painful waxing experience.

10. Stay Consistent: Book every 4-6 weeks to stay on schedule with hair growth.
